Release Overview
The Remote Collector (RC) v17.11.01 release provides new SNMP device discoveries and enhancements to some existing supported devices.
The most recent Main Appliance (MA) version was v17.11.00, released April 6, 2022.

New SNMP Device Discovery Support
The Device42 v17.11.01 RC includes additional SNMP discovery support for the following device types:
- Sonus 5100/5200 SBC – new discovery for these devices now returns device serial number, HWM, OS and model and connectivity information.
- NEXANS – new discovery for these devices returns device, port and SFP information.
- ONEACCESS – new discovery for these devices returns serial number, HWM, and interface information.
Enhanced SNMP Discovery Support
The Device42 v17.11.01 RC includes enhanced SNMP discovery support for the following device types:
- Brocade – improved discovery for these devices now returns correct device name, physical subtype, and FC ports information.
- Steelcentral – improved discovery for these devices now returns serial number, HWM with vendor, and ports.
- Radware DefensePro-20 – improved discovery for these devices now returns HWM, serial number, OS, and ports.
- TP-Link – improved discovery for these devices now returns device data including MAS addresses, OS, and VLAN information.
- xCelor xPort L1 – improved discovery for these devices now returns CPU and RAM data.
- UCS Manager – improved discovery for these devices now returns serial number and correct HWM.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue in which discovery of IBM Flash and Storewize storage arrays was not functioning correctly.
