Get fast and easy access to mobile devices managed with Microsoft Intune
As Device42 continues to develop and enhance the product, we’re committed to expanding our unparalleled depth and breadth of discovery by continuously introducing data from integrations with the latest third-party technologies that provide measurable value to our customers and partners.
In v17.11.00 we’ve added Microsoft Intune to Device42’s growing list of useful built-in integrations.
Microsoft® Intune is a cloud-based service that focuses on mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). IT teams use it to control how their organization uses its devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. It’s also designed to configure specific policies to control applications.
Intune is part of Microsoft’s Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) suite. It integrates with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to control who has access and what they can access. It also integrates with Azure Information Protection for data protection and can be used with the Microsoft 365 suite of products.
The Data You Need
Device42’s integration with Intune enables users to easily add accurate, detailed data from Intune and seamlessly inventory remote workstations directly, rather than running discovery directly against these machines. This is a huge benefit for customers with a mobile workforce managed by teams that use Intune as their MDM solution. Device42 users can now quickly inventory thousands of workstations without the need for individual intervention.
Many of our customers and partners have requested this enhancement, which greatly simplifies the way they manage mobile devices. It adds the data they use for everyday MDM with the rich ecosystem of insights provided by Device42 already.
